Flag of Pier Giovanpaulo Orsini da Manupello captain General of the Florentine Army in 1440.Many thanks  to Massimo and Carlfor helping me  with this flag



Here's a pic of the original flag ; I quite like the golden armour on the men at arms and will probably use this for the finished Impetus base

  5. Hi Simon , the original illustration is taken fromthe Battle of Anghiari Cassone in the Dublin museum. there's plenty of pics about on the we.

    Many years ago, I had a 28mm army representing the army of Ceseare Borgia, sadly I sold this and moved on.
    Well as things usually happen I am now starting to begin painting this army again.
    Would it be possible for you to create the flags of the papal army of that period?
