  1. Pete,
Excellent stuff - now if you fancy doing the flags of Savoy for my Savoia 18th century range that would be impressive :)

  2. Incredible work Pete - the level of detail you've managed to add to the heraldry is just amazing! I'll get in touch for an order.

  4. Pete,
Never mind what Graham says, I would personally create a few Saxon flags for the same period. By the way, the Austrian flags are wonderful, you just seem to get better with each new flag. Well done.

    1. Hi Robbie, if the Saxons fought with the Austrians, I might be tempted as I owe you a flag .

      cheers Pete

    2. The Saxons did fight with the Austrians starting with the Second Silesian War. They proceeded to lose to the Prussians at Hohenfriedburg and Kesselsdorf in 1745.

    3. Eighteenth century history is a huge hole in my knowledge of military history so thanks for the info.

I'm just about finished the earlier flags which includes the ones for Charles VI using his 1737 arms and the 1743 model green flags and just about to start the 1745 model. Unfortunately I'm not convinced with the depiction of the Madonna with child that's on Kronosaf, in the Summerfield book and in other modern reconstruction's so will probably go with a period depiction which in contemporary illustrations doesn't appear to change that much between 1740 - 1780; any thoughts would be appreciated.

      cheers Pete
