ReplyDeleteA good one I have read on Bourbon is: The Man Who Sacked Rome: Charles De Bourbon, Constable of France by Vincent J Pitts 1994.
Its not cheap but has alot about his defection to Charles. It definitely gave me a better understanding of his status in France and the HRE.
I'll keep a look out for it, cheers
