Foundry Swiss Captain

Foundry July giveaway; I've always wanted one of these figures and thanks to Marcus Ansell I now have two along with a couple of other very useful figures

  1. You've certainly brought him to life! I thought he looked really average as a casting. I like the choice of colours too - very much like he's strolled off a painting.

  2. Ah, Michael Perry's first left-handed sculpt - nicely done Pete.
I've had one of these models for some time, found via ebay, and haven't had a go at it yet.
    Cheers

    1. It's on hold as we (The Lance and Longbow society) have decided to do Bosworth with all the updated archaeological information of the last few years.

I'm looking forward to the arrival of Anne Curry and Glen Ford's book dedicated to the new site.

Pete, the Fornovo project is still alive, I just need more information on the heraldry as a Medieval/Renaissance battlefield looks very sparse without any banners/standards etc.

      Darrell.

  5. Hi Darrell, good to see that the Fornovo project is still ongoing. I've got info on all the major Italian participants and getting there with the French. First I'm going to repaint Gonzaga's flag as it's not quite right, I'll keep you posted with my progress.

Are you gonna be involved with the Bosworth game?
