Renaissance Scottish

I've had a mid 16th century Tudor Army for some time but could never settle on any rules  or opponents to game with it, so after enjoing playing never mind the billhooks I decide dto use them for that rule set. As there were no figures which matched the TAG Tudor's  I decided to have my own sculpted to compliment the TAG figures I have, so far there's production moulds being made for 12 pike and 4 command figures and with another command group and 6 arquebusiers on their way. I'll be putting these up for sale as part of PetesFlags with the hope sales of the figures will cover the cost of production and I'll have a Scottish force  suitable for the Earl of Arran himself . The plan is  to start th edollies for the  cavalry and for a good pile of highlanders followed by a few more pike onc ethe arquebysiers are scupted. Cheers Pete

    1. will be selling them direct with payment via paypal until I get a shop organised which I'll do once I've sorted out thetax rules for overseas sales. Currently I only sell via ebay as ebay takes the tax direct however the margins with teh figures are so small selling them from ebay would be a false economy, cheers Pete

  3. You're a dark horse Pete. Ive been on the lookout for Jocks and especially gallowglass etc. May I suggest you take a look at the Never Mind the Billhooks wargames rules which will be released in hardback in December and will contain various renaissance armies including the Scots. The current free rules are still available and may work for what you require.

  4. Hi Robbie, that's my plan Robbie to use these and the Tudors I already have for Billhooks. Highlanders will be a significant investment and the dollies will be started once the arquebusiers are done however given teh feedback I'm receiving they might jump the queue. I'm hoping to have these released in 2 weeks or so, cheers Pete

  6. Really looking forward to painting up some of these Pete, they are fantastic. I love your paint work on them - inspired by the Scots Osprey I think?
I agree with the other comments, some accurate 16th Century Highlanders would be a great further addition

I would second the call for some 16th Cent highland types to compliment the excellent ones already planned.
