This book by Massimo Predonzani is an excellent source of information on 15th century Italian  armies including flags, heraldry etc. Unfortunately I can't read Italian however I've been very lucky to have been helped by Mr. Carl de Roo and Massimo himself . With the help they have given me I should have a flag sheet for the leaguest commanders completed in the next couple of weeks followed by the Milanese forces.
